Alisa Sahavacharin –Assistant Professor Alisa Sahavacharin is a faculty member in the Department of Landscape Architecture, Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Thammasat University, Thailand, and currently serves as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. She holds a PhD in Environmental Science from Chulalongkorn University, an MSc in International Horticulture from the University of Essex (UK), and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Chulalongkorn University. Her expertise spans landscape ecology, sustainable and coastal landscape planning, environmental science, spatial analysis, and community-based resilience.
Alisa has led and contributed to numerous national and international research projects related to nature-based solutions, climate resilience, water and environmental quality, peri-urban agriculture, smart cities, and cultural landscape conservation. She has published extensively in international journals and academic platforms, including works on ecosystem services, flood resiliency, urban ecological design, and coastal environmental management. Her research has supported community wellbeing, policy development, and sustainable urban and environmental planning across Thailand and Southeast Asia.
