Fa Likitswat is an Assistant Professor of the Landscape Architecture Program at the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Thammasat University. She received her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Interior Architecture) from Thammasat University in 2005. She later, was awarded a Master of Landscape Architecture by the Illinois Institute of Technology, United States, in 2012. She is Schiff Design Fellow and Alpha Rho Chi 2012. Her research is focused on sustainable and ecological landscape. Her current research works closely with the local community to build capacity on climate resiliency issues. She has focused on education for sustainability in courses including Sustainable Landscape Studio, Landscape Ecology, and Life and Sustainability. She is a project investigator for the project Enhancing Community Climate Change Resiliency and Environmental Quality through Organic Farming and Design Thinking in Peri-urban Bangkok, which fund by Canada for Local Initiatives (Canadian Embassy Thailand), Thammasat – Nava Nakorn Smart City Studio project, collaborated with Harvard Graduate School of Design, Nava Nakorn Industrial Zone, Ratch Group, and ALT, funded by Nava Nakorn Industrial Zone, and the Pathum Thani Agihood Model, in collaboration of AIT, funded by Newri Comm, Nanyang Technological University and Lien Environmental Fellowship. She is also the project collaborator for the Real-time flood modelling for improved community resiliency in Southeast Asia (funded by APN), NbCLARE: A Framework to Enhance Design and Implementation of Nature-Based Solutions through Integration of Evidence-Based Practices and Policies (funded by CLARE ASEAN), and Knowledge Hub on Urban Ecosystem-based Adaptation in Lao PDR, funded by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MoNRE) of Lao PDR through the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP)
